Good evening help please.
Went to turn heating on after the summer. The hot water is fine boiler fires up. But mo heating. Make a clinking noise from boiler.

Hi hubby filled up water cylinder in airing cupboard up. FF250 IDEAL BOILER.

Try bleeding the radiators to release any air. If that doesn’t work, check the pressure gauge; it should be around 1-1.5 bar.

The boiler makes a clikling noise as well? The switch on the wall doesn't click when you turn on. Normally you hear a sound? Please anything else would be really helpful. We both have health issues.

Do you have a thermostat ,is it calling for heat ?
If you have a programmer is it set to call for central heating ?
I have no idea what you mean by " filling up a water cylinder " ???

Sorry the water was low in the water cylinder in airing cuboard. And thermostat does not switch on heating. You normally hear it. We hear nothing at all.

Can you show us a picture of this water cylinder ,any motorised valves on the central heating pipes (usually found near the hot water cyclinder),the thermostat and the programmer or timer that you use to control the boiler.

Can I presume you are in Australia and the boiler you have is on LPG? Your system may be setup and use systems and controls very different to us here in the UK.

Some pictures would be a great help.

Morning guys.
Went to turn heating on and it won't go on? Boiler working OK with hot water. Thermostat working fine with power. Power from cylinder tank on panel shows power !! It seems the heating is not powering up. Makes a clink noise from boiler? Normally when you switch heating on from thermostat you hear the heating going on through the house. Absolutely nothing. The boiler is ideal FF250 it's old but great boiler neve
