Web Whatsapp on a Macbook Air

I use mine a lot, cos it's a big screen and I can type faster than I thumb. Lately, it has been coming up when I open it, and then all the chats on that person's page disappear. (not from my phone though) Crazy thing is, whose stuff I can see and whose I can't seems random...

Nothing seems to help. When I decide to wipe it off the machine, it says 'go to finder, drag the WA icon to the bin'. There is no WA icon in finder!

Any ideas over and above turn it off and back on again?

I use a Macbook Pro If you open finder and under the applications folder you should see:

I moved it to the bin, just fine after touchIDing myself

Ta for that. That's what I want to do, but it's not in the apps folder...
