Hello All,

I have the same problem of seeds coming to rest and sprouting in the cracks of the paviours. I've been wondering if the sand could be replaced with something that sets like mortar but looks better. Some sort of resin mixture perhaps.

It would take a lot of raking out but it would be worth it if the replacement material was permanent. Any ideas, anyone?

Using pathclear alternate months from March to October will poison the sand/soil between the paviours and prevent any seeds germinating. Do not replace the sand with mortar it will eventually crack, and be impossible to maintain or treat in the future.
