Wet bottom...

I

imamartian

Just had a new front door fitted, wooden (oak faced), very nice. It's in a porch, and doesn't face direct weather... so is never wet from the outside.

I have just noticed a considerable draught from under the door, and the bottom edge of the door (inside) is wet.... literally water dripping off of it.
No wet on the outside, and no wet from snow on the threshold....

Could it just be condensation? and if so, how to prevent?

Cold + hot air =condensation, get the fitters back and fit the door properly or get a draught excluder.
