Wet dashing dormer cheeks

Hi I need to wet dash (to tie in with the rest of my house) some dormer cheeks they are currently lined with 18mm ply and a layer of tyvek. I have looked at eml and bluclad board but am unsure which is best to avoid cracking I also live facing the Irish Sea so get alot of weather. Any help would be great.
