I've read on here that when you roll a ceiling you should always work in bands and keep a wet edge.

I have a large ceiling to paint which has loads of spot lights and I reckon it will take me 2 hours to paint, my shoulder will 'play up' after about an hour. Can I paint half the ceiling one day and then finish it the following weekend or will you see a line where I stopped last time?

Thanks.

It is always advisable to keep a wet edge, in your situation however you could try feathering out to a mere nothing in reality you will remove the edge.

I would'nt leave it to long before doing the other half and you may just get away with it.

I would suggest that you make the edge of the band as random as possible with the roller @ angles to the band - that`ll help too
