Having just taken out my shower and lifted the flooring , there was an area of floorboards that were rotten with water damage. So decided to lift them and replace with NEW T&G. Problem is that out of the 5 joists that span the room two of them have rotted near to where the main water damage penetrated. Will the below action be enough to fix. ...
Cut away the damaged wood and paint on chemical treatment (which one ?)
then attach new joists to the side, with coach bolts
