Wet room door?

I have been asked by a mate to convert a bog-standard ensuite into a wetroom. I am planning to make the drainage fall up with plywood and then tank the room.

I have one problem though.

The room is 1.6m by 2m with the door opposite the shower (i.e 1.6m away) and the basin and WC at the other end.

Is this too close? Will water seep under the door into the bedroom? Is there any way of sealing the door and frame?

Any help would be appreciated.

We have a level access wet room measuring about the same. The floor was laid to fall 20mm from the door to the drain, which is below the shower head. So far we haven't had any problems.
