Hi, I have seen a couple of 'Bubbles' along the skirting edge of our Bathroom Wet Floor. The Bathroom was done a year ago so I am not sure if we are covered under any kind of guarantee. Can anyone tell me if I need to be concerned with these 'Bubbles' and what the future scenario could be? P1000433.jpg P1000434.jpg

Your photos are out of focus and exactly whats "bubbling" isn't clear to me?
Could you do better photos, and show more of the bathroom for some kind of context?
What materials are the floor, the skirting and the wall?

I learned somewhere on this site that you have 6 years for any redress after work is complete - regardless of guarantees or warranties.

It looks to me very much like vinyl flooring rather than a wet room floor.

Is it laid on hardboard?

Have you kept a copy of the order or contract and the receipt? How was the work specified?

It's Polysafe hydro vinyl sheet used for wet rooms.

Plaster might of blown when gluing it on. Might not of been rolled up upstands.

Thank you all for your replies. We were only given a Bill, not any guarantees on paper. JohnD: It is the correct type of flooring for Wet Rooms, and was laid on a concrete floor. dazlight;
thanks, the chances are it may well be the plaster. Do you know if these Bubbles will create a problem further down the line?

Sorry !!!! I can see the Bubbles ? As they are very low down I don't think I could get a much bigger picture of the Bathroom? and that won't tell us anything anyway ?

If it stays like it is and no water can get behind the sheet where it meets the cap tile you will be ok.
We do them every week and sometimes the plaster pops but never had a call back.

I found this post looking for info on bubbles in wetroom floor covering. Yours is just like mine but my bubble is right in front of the door about half a metre in. Its just two months old but I can't face the floor being taken up again. I wondered if there was anything could be done about it short of taking it up and starting again. The bubble didn't appear until about a couple of weeks ago.

Sounds like either moisture under the vinyl.
It will need to come up or maybe cut a square out and repair the area
