I've read a fair few examples on how to deck out a tanked room in 18 or 25mm wbp, but in my situation wall space is a bit critical and I would prefer not to lose the thickness of a sheet of ply on one of the walls, so I'd have a situation where bare breezeblock wall meets the ply on the floor.
What sort of thin render could I use on this wall? I thought about cement with polymer admixture or a mortar plasticiser. alternatively 5mm ply as my plastering skill is quite minimal but I'd prefer not to use ply on this wall for another reason - 2 part flexi tile adhesive is hideously expensive!
