I'm installing a wetroom style single glass panel screen on top of a shower tray. There is lots of advice out there regarding installation and I understand the theory of not sealing the inside but I have two questions:
(1) I've seen advice to seal the inside of the wall channel and the inside of the screen but to leave a gap at the bottom horizontal of the wall channel to allow any water ingress to escape. Good idea or better to seal only outside?
(2) is it a good idea to sit the screen on a bead of clear silicone or sit it directly onto the tray and seal the outside only or alternatively both outside and inside?
Cheers
