we are adding a new bathroom to our ground floor. We would like to do a wetroom-style shower area (eg no shower tray - just tiled floor with slight slope down to drain and a small glass screen). Has anyone done this? What problems did you have? How 'deep' did your drainage have to be?

Thanks

You need to look at proprietary systems like Wedi, Tile-safe, Wet room solutions, Aquapanel, etc. Just Google on each of those to find their sites.

Yes at home.

Without the small glass screen.

Set the waste in the concrete and screed with waterproof screed. try and get the waste to end up flush with the tiled finish, its worth taken time to get this spot on.

Wedi is excellent. They do there own floor board with built in slope and an excellent trap. Easy to lay too.
