I have to lay an oak TG all round floor over a chipboard suspended floor.
They are random length boards of 120 x 15mm and the have been acclimatised to the room for 2 months. What is the best adhesive ie. bitumen or water based?
thanks

Over time bitumen will get brittle and 'break' free from the underfloor. Lecol5500 or Mapei P990 is your best bet

thanks very much for the reply I'm trying to track down a supplier in France for the adhesive. Finally do have any tips for application of the adhesive or for installation of the floor?
thanks

Use a notched trowel, make sure you have done all the preparations and take your time.
