What are these brown spots on my cabinet?

Hi

I have used the built-in cabinet for almost 5 years.
And its the first time these things appear.
I seldom use this cabinet, as its in my guest room.
Some of the clothes also affected by these brownie things...
Heard its coz of moisture, is this true?
What should I do know? and how to do i prevent it.

[Symptoms]

candy - looks fungal to me and probably caused, as you say, by lack of ventilation/moisture (Malaysia ... lots or rain, monsoon, humid?) Try to clean it off with a mild breach wash (test the effect of the bleach on the wood in a discrete place on the cabinet). Prevention = vent the cabinet.
