All, refurbishing an old victorian tenament flat with sash windows. Most of the windows are missing the locks/clips/whatever you call them (see picture) that hold the window shut. I've tried google and ebay without any luck so the question is.... what are these called, and where can i get them?

duhhh! :oops:

so i tried clips/brackets/locks/holders/"lock type thingys".. but nope, never tried fasteners!

Each to his own, but IMO the zinc-plated ones look as cheap as they are. ;)
 
Don't just rely on these for window security, fit additional locks designed for sash windows (the screw through ones are best). Looking at the view from your window though, it looks as though you're high-up, so may not be so much an issue.
