.Me too.That style belongs on a 60's crosswall construction house. Shame they didn't pick some better pattress plates. There are loads to choose from and they used some old bits of srap iron.

Something like this with some expamesh screwed/washered over the plates and some SBR for a good bond. A few coats of hammerite wouldn't do any harm either.
