Hi.

I have just brought a house which has a 2m by 1m porch built on to the front of it. My plan is to use that porch as a room in the house but the problem is this.

It is built in brick but with no cavity wall i'm wondering if I can get that plaster board with the foam instulation on the back and dot and dab it on to the Walls so I have some sort of instultion.

Can any one help with this or come up with any other ideas.

Thanks

You can do that, but you will need to also use a secondary(mechanical) fixing called a nailable plug.
or you could batten out fill void with insulation then vapour check and board.
You could also build a second external thermal leaf.
