Where my new slab floor meets the back wall of the house, the DPM laps up against the wall. Currently it's about 4 inches high.

I'm not sure whether I'll dot'n'dab the wall or bond yet, but either way, how should the DPM be layered in, and how much should it be cut back?

Cheers.

The DPM really should overlap the DPC, by as much as the latter sticks out of the wall. The DPC is folded down and the DPM is tucked under it against the wall. If you have Radon gas underneath, they want you to seal them around the whole perimeter

My DPC doesn't stick out much at all - maybe a millimetre or two. This is a conservatory which isn't subject to regs.

If I was to cut the DPM back so that it overlaps the DPM by an inch, would I then dot'n'dab or plaster bond over the top?

On this question you need to wait for a reply form a plastering specialist

about 5mm, but then I'll be adding 6mm of underlay and 6mm of laminate flooring.

id cut it off at about 15mm above your dpc so it comes just above the top of your laminate floor. then dot and dab your walls. pack up the plasterboard 5-10mm off the floor to leave gap preventing any damp being drawn up the plasterboard.
