I would like some advice please.. I am about to tile my internal concrete stairs with wood effect porcelain tiles. These are approx 23cm x 85cm. For the wall I will install some brick effect tiles which are approx 44cm * 66cm. I have read so much staff that I am more confused than when I started.
So, I have been reading I need to apply primer, at least for the concrete stairs. Is this correct?
Basic question; Do I need both grout and adhesive ot the adhesive alone does the job?
I read that I need some flexible adhesive for the stairs. Can someone please recommend one? I don't mind paying for premium one if it makes my life easier
What should I use for the wall?
Which brand? Unibond or Mapei?
Any help will be greatly appreciated

use name brand powdered adhesive -
likewise, use brand name powdered grout.
no primer needed.
for both wall and floor: comb the surfaces with adhesive and then comb the back of the tiles.
