I'm putting up a ceiling with resilient bars and two layers of plasterboard (probably 19mm planks and 12.5 layer underneath). What happens to the space between the vertical wall and the first joist? The end of the resilient bars are just in mid-air. Is that ok with the weight of the boards? Doesn't seem to be right but can't think of way of avoiding it.

Thanks.
