WHAT HAVE I DONE???

Having just knocked a patition wall in the kitchen/living I now find that the six sockets in the living rm are dead.
One of the sockets was in the wall. The cable feeding it came down from the ceiling and was fine at first but now nada.
Nothing showing at the fuse box so assume i've pulled a wire out.
What are my options?
No access fron attic(it's an apt).
Am I screwd??

sounds like you'd be wise to get an electrician in.

hi everyone,

i would have thought the wire in the socket in the partition which you knocked through had popped out. open it up and have a look.

just make sure you SWITCH OFF at the CU /Fusebox before you do that.

BTW do you have rings in Ireland? from what you describe it sounds like a radial

iirc rings are seen in ireland but radials are more common
