I've built a stud wall with 2" x 4" with an 8' wide opening.
The plan is to put up 4 x 2' glazed french doors from wickes.
The doors are heavy but wickes suggest using a track to take some of the weight.
The trouble with that is the doors will open in a "V" shape on each side.
This will eat into the dining room.
I want the doors to be able to fold back so that they are mostly out of the way.
I have doubled up the studs where the doors will be hung.
Is it just a matter of using heay duty hinges on them?
I was thinking of 3 or 4 strong hinges on each door should be sufficient to stop them from sagging?
Does any on have advice / thoughts on this...??
thank you
