I got some cleaners in to wash the patio/carport roof. When I returned I found black foamy material on the patio floor. What is this stuff? I now see daylight where the patio joins the main roof of the house.

Corrugated foam fillers?
Thanks noseall! What are they used for? How do I replace them? Do I need to have a roofer look at it? Will the patio/carport leak because they have been dislodged?
Perhaps they are descended from our Feckless Convicts we transported Sponsored Links
eaves fillers are there to stop a possible source of infestation but also act as ventilation
