Hi everyone - is it road planings or is there something else that is a cheap aggregate?

I had a quote regarding MOT Type 1 and road planings and road planings are so much cheaper than MOT Type 1. It is just for a hard standing area and it just needs to be a cheap job, dont want anything that is needing to look pretty.

What is the cheapest form of aggregate please? and i can have a look at local suppliers.

Thank you.

You asked the same question just over a month ago, Kauto.

Hint: Look at "Similar Topics" below.

planings are potentially a problem if you ever need to have them removed and disposed of, they can be classed as contaminated waste which costs around £80 per tonne at present to get rid of. Just phone around for a few pricesl.

also, you might try a muck away man - they often supply, level and compact type 1 at very good rates.

ps. type 1 can be made out of recycled concrete, so maybe phone around some demolition companies to see if they can suppy competitively....
