Hi everyone,

Can somebody please help and tell me what the internal diameter for the Pushfit coiled 15mm pipe is please?

This is the one I mean.

Does it mean the external diameter is 15mm or is it the internal diameter that's 15mm?

Many thanks :)

I do, obviously!!

I don't need it for the job it was made for. Hence the question.

So any ideas?

The o d is 15, the i d is 13mm or a bit less. Pex pipe (as at screwfix) has a slightly thinner wall than polybutylene (hepworth/polypipe). One of them is 1.2mm wall thickness, can't remember which.

I know this is an old thread, but as it's at the top of the Google results for others (like me) who aren't looking for PEX to "do the job it was made for", I thought I'd update this thread with the I/D information.

Taken from the datasheet on RS Online
Code:
Nominal Diameter | Pipe O/D (mm) | Pipe I/D (mm) | Ovality |
-----------------|---------------|---------------|---------|
10mm             |  9.9 - 10.1   |  6.6  -  6.8  | <= 0.5  |
12mm             | 11.9 - 12.1   |  8.6  -  8.8  | <= 0.5  |
15mm             | 14.9 - 15.1   | 11.45 - 11.65 | <= 1.0  |
22mm             | 21.9 - 22.1   | 17.6  - 17.8  | <= 1.0  |
28mm             | 27.9 - 28.1   | 22.4  - 22.6  | <= 1.0  |
