What is the wall thickness between two rooms?

Moving a TV that I fixed to to a brick wall. Now the wife wants it moved to the other wall, which is plasterboard and the wall seperates two rooms. Now of course ideally it goes into the joists but in the off chance that I miss them, how thick is the wall that seperates the two rooms? The house is about 15 years old so I'm assuming no brickwork of any sorts seperates any rooms, and I want to avoid putting a screw through to the other side.

if it is a typical stud partition wall then it is likely that the wooden studs are a 100mm wide and the plasterboard on them will be 12.5mm
so overall 125mm

take notice where eletrical switches and sockets are - dont drill vertically above or below them -- be thoughtful to plumbing too

is there a door in that wall ? you can measure it there

Find studs. Don't miss them.
I use a strong rare earth magnet. You probably have one somewhere on something like a old phone mount as will pick up screw heads

Cheers, no electric sockets on the walls either side, hot water tank in other room in a cupboard but pipework runs underneath that.
Removed a fitted wardrobe, so got a rough idea where the studs are,

You may be able to use 1 stud but for the other fixing position when it's just plasterboard I use these, they only need a small hole but give a wide load spread at the back when in position
