Never seen one of these before and I need to buy a replacement. I presume you need to take it out by unscrewing with a screwdriver?

Oh dear, did not know obsolete, I have 6, not sure if one shown is G9 most the bulbs look the same in a picture.

With the G9 there is normally a glass cover to stop hot bits should the bulb break, and stop harmful rays which are only required with the quartz versions. The LED version does not need the cover.

The smaller versions are normally 12 volt only the G9 is 230 volt. With the quartz bulb you must not touch the bulb.
