What Lintel?

Hi

I am having a garage conversion carried out at the moment. Does anyone know what the UDL KN would be for a 2200mm wide and 10 courses of standard brick above.

I have had a IG L11 started to be put in but unsure if it will strong enough as that 10 UDL KN. Should it be IG 10 which would be 22 UDL KN.

Any help would be appreciated.

Do you mean solid brick or 1.2 brick construction? Does it also support floor or roof? Are there any openings above?
