Intend to make a 1500mm wide opening in the following wall which adjoins the front and back rooms in a terrace.

The wall is a single skin which supports the floor above.

BC have said that they will accept the calculations from the suppliers. I have rung a few suppliers and they have said it would take a Type C Lintel 1800mm in length (145x100) but they won't supply the calculations - I need to get that direct from the manufacturer.

BC have said that it does not require a SE but needs to be signed off.

Opening = 1.5m
Height of masonry above opening = 0.8m
Height of first floor wall = 2.7m

Total wall height = 3.5m

Walls = 5.5 kN/m2.
UDL would be (h x w) so 3.5m x 1.5m = 5.25m2 x 5.5 so 28.9 KN/m

0.65 kN/m2 for a timber floor and ceiling

UDL would be (1/2 the span of the floor) x (the width of the opening) so 2.1 x 1.5 = 3.15 m2 x 0.65 = 2.05 kN/m
Multiply by 1.5 live load = 3.07 kN/m

In total 3.07 + 28.9 KN/m = 31.97 = 32 kN/m

So I would need a high strength lintel

R22a (100mm wide x 215mm high x 1800m) ?

It might have a ticket on it like this:

But I doubt the BCO will want to see it.

Just specify the lintel model and manufacturer, the council has all the brochures and information already.

Well I emailed stressline who did the calculation for me and it turns out I was totally wrong - no surprise there.

They worked it out at 7 KN/m and specified an R15 at 1800mm and even provided the calculations. So will forward these onto BC.

What I don't understand is that

Stressline standard 1800mm r15 is rated at 11.1 KN/m
Stressline high strength 1800 r15 is rated at 17.7 KN/m

Supreme r15 standard 1800mm is rated at 31.87 KN/m
Supreme high strength 1800mm is rated at 44.56 KN/m

Is the Supreme lintel simply a far superior product or am I looking at the wrong numbers?

It depends whether you place them with 140mm as the height or with 100mm as the height. The it's whether the 1800mm is the length or the clear width of the opening. Also the different lintel manufacturers make them to different strengths, which depends on what steel reinforcement they are using, and how deep it is from the top of the lintel.
