What make of Pattress box is this ?

Any clever spark out there that can tell me the brand name and supplier of pattress box this is, please ?

Yep. There is NO makers mark on the box.

A similar box has a thread missing. I need to cannibalise one otherwise
replacing the box, hacking out behind a tiled wall would
be a bit of a pain

I can't find one similar, I'm sure somebody else will know which brand it is. Have you tried re-threading it or is it totally gone?

4mm rethreader rather than a 3.5mm ?

Yea that is a definite possibility, I have occasionally found that rethreading at 3.5 will sometimes save a thread I thought was totally dead - could push the screw through with no resistance at all

Or just use a 4mm self tapper

Hate to see woodscrews used to hold back accesories! generally don't do it unless you have no other option
