Took a load of tiles off this plasterboard wall in the bathroom, have got the tiles and tile adhesive off. Won’t be retiring, just want to paint it.

Do I need to employ the services of a plasterer to skim the wall first? Or is there something I can put on to smooth the wall myself?

Cheers

personally I'd get it skimmed.

IMHO the important bits of a bathroom wall are the area above the bath taps, the area above the toilet cistern, and the area opposite the toilet.
Because someone will sit in the bath, sit on the loo, or stand at the loo and gaze at about one square metre for longer than any other bit of wall.
