Hi all,

I am converting a church in to a home and have a 10 m floor to ceiling height.
The ceiling has 6 velux windows in with newly plastered ceiling,i have sealed the plaster with sealing solution.

What i am interested in is finding out what the best type of paint to use on these high up ceilings as it will be a long interval between repainting and if i select the right type of emulsion now this will keep the maintenace down i hope.

Has anyone or any decorators on this site any good experience with types of emulsions and how many coats to use for a long lasting finish.

Many thanks in advance,

Rgds.....

I just seen the little words at the bottom of your post & no its not PVA i have heard stories about this its not a good idea.

I have used a gyproc primer on the skimmed plasterboard.
