Hi All,

Following a leak from the bath over a very long period of time I've removed a floor and wall tile in the bathroom. The wall tile literally was about to fall off and whatever product was used to stick it to the brickwork disintegrated almost entirely. I'm sorting out the bath leak but need to know what product I should use to fill some of the space or will a thick layer of tile adhesive be ok? Here's a picture of the area.

Thanks in advance

First off I'd get a dehumidifier or fan heater to blow on it for 24 hours at least, most of the end result is in the prep and you're neevr going to get best results if the area is still damp. It's hard to see how much gap you've got to fill from the bare brickwork to the back of the tile. I'd probably go with tile adhesive, as you've got a good dry keyed surface to go on. But I'm no expert.
