I'm installing insulation on my concrete slab ready for UFH and a 50mm liquid screed.
I think I'll need to install a very thin sand blinding to flatten out the slab a bit, however I can't find anywhere what sand to use above concrete.
I ask this because there is a DPM below the slab, and a DPM will go above the blinding, so I'm thinking any damp sand would trap the water in there forever? Most people recommend sharp sand or building sand for blinding below a slab which can have a lot of water in it.
