What shrub is this please?

Her indoors says it may be a variety of Cornus or Euonymus :D

Happy gardening,
footprints

The leaf shape looks more spindle (Euonymus) than dogwood (Cornus). Variegated spindle is usually evergreen, almost all dogwoods are deciduous.

Thanks footprints and ceres, I need to shape it / control it as it has grown about 1/4 of its height in the last year and a half or so.

Thanks again.

Its a pittisporum silver queen.

They are tough and can be pruned hardish if you really need to but they can take a while to re-grow well though so don't go crazy.

They look best when left alone and simply trimmed to keep them in shape rather than topped.

It will regrow well from soft growth but old woody stems if cut will take a while to shoot
