on my way to refitting out 2 apartments so require 2 new boilers.
got to run approx 5-6 radiators and 1 thermostatic shower each apt.
any recommendations as to what is a suitable size kw boiler and also what make condensing boilers are reputable.
have had fitted in the past a couple of main (baxi)105 he condensing boilers at approx 600 pounds to purchase including flu and clock and never had a problem with these.
just wondered if anything else much better and efficient.
any recommendations much appreciated..........or any well known problems with thie main 105 he.

If you are saying that there is ONLY a shower in each apartment and no bath, I would recommend the ATAG E22C, or failing that the Ecotec Plus 824.

The Broag is ok, but of lesser quality.

The Broag is superior to the Ecotec but not the ATAG.

The Broag is very well specced with OpenTherm control. The price/performance around.

But you have never installed any of them.

In fact you are not qualified to install gas boilers.

Perhaps those who are qualified to fit boilers are better able to comment on the suitability of boilers?

The manufacturers will make their brochures look very attractive however poor their product.

What a load of tripe.

Ecotec knocks spots off the Broag for build quality and performance.

Got a Broag going in tomorrow on a budget job.

As Tony says, until you have fitted both YOU will never be in a position to comment.

Forum idiot
