What size trowel for laying floor tiles???

I will be laying 300mm x 600mm porcelain tiles on my bathroom floor with is pretty flat and solid.
I thought you had to use a 20mm trowel but this guy seems to be using a 6mm any advice

If you have a level floor, you will get away with smaller notched trowel, but ideally 20mm is best used.

6mm is way too small, it'll make it hard to work with while laying. at a minimum look at a 10mm

Are you using a decoupling membrane in the bathroom like ditra mating?
then a 6mm trowel to lay the matting is fine then 10mm notch trowel to sett tiles will fine
