Hmm, that's quite easy to do but quite awkward to explain. How handy are you with DIY?
Out of 10 i would be a 4 or 5. The to bits are already ready to join together as you can see. Basically i need legs i think. It does not have to have arm rests right?

When done, put something synthetic on the bottom of the legs to keep the timber off the ground. This will stop the end grain soaking up moisture from the ground and prolong the life of the legs. I used these on a particularly hefty bench I made:

Easiest?

Buy a sheet of 22mm WBP structural ply and cut L shapes out of it with a jigsaw, to the shape of the pink lines above. Glue (red lines) and screw (blue circles) to both sides of the existing timbers. Adding another 4x2 (yellow shade) betweem and going to the floor will increase side to side rigidity

If youre after making this look like the most amazing shabby chic rustic bench, it'll be a lot more work and probably involve making (having fabricated) T shaped metal brackets and zapping them in with meaty screws (screwfix turbo coach are amazing) - got a welder? can you weld?

If you lean the back of the bench back, lean the back legs too to stop it tipping over backwards (Y brackets) if people really lounge in it

Bash those nails flat or cut off with a grinder before someone gets tetanus!
