I have 34mm PVC waste pipe from a bathroom sink coming out through a wall with a 90 degree bend and directed down to a gulley. I want to secure the downward section of the pipe to the wall in at least 2 spots. I got the standard push-fit pipe clips. The only problem I have is that the off-set of the pipe from the wall is larger that the leg length of the clips.

Are spacers for the pipe clips a possible answer to this issue or is there some other solution?

Tee it into the soil pipe where it comes out of the bathroom wall
