what to put on nex exterior door

Just had a new external oak veneered door fitted to my garage, What should i put on it to protect it?
I don't want to paint it, shall I apply linseed oil? or a varnish? any makes or recommendations would be appreciated.
Ideally i just want to coat it & job done, don't want to spend hours applying treatments & rubbing down.

Oil is the only way, will have to do it yearly but doesn't take long to do though, plenty of oil choices of products out there
