I'm fitting a new shower door, however I've got a 10cm gap and was wondering what to build it up with?

the last person used wood but it looks crap and goes off colour very quick

any ideas?

This is whats been done previously

Several things could be used. A well oiled piece of hardwood, a piece of PVC, any colour you like, box it, then tile it etc....

Most shower door manufacturers sell an add on extension which will match in with the door.

The shower door I have is 932mm in length however the shower tray is 1066mm?

Should the tray and door be the same length as each other or doesn't it really matter?
