What type of plumbing connections should I use?

Hi, I am planning to refit my bathroom soon and need to move some pipework around.

I was woindering what type of connections are best to use....... conpression, push-fit etc.?

I dont feel that confident soldering pipework :(

Soldered fittings are by far the best. Have a practise. What's the worst that can happen? it's only water.
 
if you cant solder pipework, id go for the push fits, easy, reliable and practical....

its easy to say whats the worst that can happen but when you have your ceiling caving in on top of you and pouring water onto brand new carpets it not much fun.
 
yeah if your new then go with push-fit i use the stuff all the time and its saved me quite some trouble

No I havent, but ive been to plenty of copper soldered joints spaying or weeping.
