What type of roofing felt ?

Am about to strip 100 year old slates from an out-house to cure leaks.
I thought I might line before refixing the original slates.
What sort of lining is recommended please.
I notice that blue plastic looking stuff appears here and there nowadays.
We are talking about an area 12' square.

underslaters felt (sarking) is probably the cheapest. we tend to use breathable, not cheap but does not tear easily, particularly when a builders size 10 happens to poke at it!

Many thanks, I do take size 10 but I'm not a builder so should be OK with the cheapie !

While your reroofing and not using breathable felt it's best to put a few tile vents in as you go, just to air your loft out.
