What undercoat should I use?

Hi All,

For previously painted matt / soft sheen wall emulsion what undercoat should I use?

Depends on paint you going to use.
So sometimes you don't need an undercoat.
You can buy white acrylic undercoat but sometimes I'd get the undercoat tinted to the chosen colour then use as a primer

Most like it'll be a Dulux Heritage velvet matt / satin matt (wipeable) paint I'd use but we have chosen yet. It'll be a neutral light colour we go for though.
