What wall plug?

Hello

I am fixing a heavy bookshelf to the wall. This is not a free standing bookshelf, it will not be on the floor. I was wondering what wall plugs I should be using to support the weight? will the normal brown wallplugs do the trick or am I better off using sleeve anchors? The battons I will be using to fix the book shelf to the wall are 1 Inch thick

Brown plugs will be fine.

Make sure they go fully into the wall, not just in the plaster and part way into the wall

If the wall is aerated block, use a proprietary plug for more grip, and use care when drilling the hole to give a snug fit
