What white paint - mat plasterboard walls - 10 years since last coat

What brand recommended
Do I have to prep in any way?
1 coat stuff or 2 coats?
any help for amateur appreciated

Leyland trade vinyl matt emulsion - from Screwfix, clean any dust/dirt/cobwebs off the walls/where it meets the skirtings etc, fill/sand any holes/pin holes/old picture hook holes etc you don't want to see afterwards, one coat will do (in my experience).
