Just wondering what people on here use, or consider the best gap filling adhesive?

I have used both pinkgrip and gripfill and find them both good, although I can't really compare one to another without trying to pull something off the wall!! Although I would say that gripfill seems to be a bit thicker and has slightly better initial grab - maybe!!

Anyone tried gripfill max or whatver it's called?

there is a product on the market called sticks like s**t .pretty aggresive stuff but this is , like all adhesives, only as good as the surface it's sticking too. people are becoming over reliant on building adhesives thinking they can be applied anywhere, for any job. usually if the job is load bearing (shelves, curtain rails etc ) then only mechanical fixings will do. by the way, sticks like s**t, works in areas of slight moisture too.

Have never seen sticks like **** but have heard of it. Might give it a go.

I agree, for anything load bearing I'd prefer to use mechnical fixings, but for materials that don;t take to being drilled too well, or non load bearing stuff it really is good stuff.
