Hi guys,

Our decorator left a week ago and since then we had brand new carpets fitted. The carpets left some scuffs on the walls, we used some left over paint that was still in the tub and a roller. We painted over the marks last night and this morning it's not looking good at all. It was a brand new roller and we applied it as evenly as possible so we can't think of why it's done this. Any help would be great. We need to fix this now as there a few places around the house that look like this.

It might have been insufficiently stirred, or it might just be the colour changed with age.

Best thing is to repaint that section of wall from skirting to ceiling, stopping at the nearest corners. It will take very little paint. You can wrap the roller or brush tightly in a plastic bag between coats to prevent it drying out.
