Hi,

I have a newly plastered wall that was fully dry (Left for about 3 weeks)

I painted a mist coat first and have now gone over with 3 coats of white Matt paint (crown contract super covertex) I used a brand new low pile roller.

The wall straight on looks perfect but from the angle looks all patchy.

It sounds like the Plasterer over polished the area , suggest a light rub down with a fine sandpaper and a couple of coats of mist emulsion .

Sorry for the questions but I'm a Business Analyst and Question a lot.

Sand down the spots of whole wall?
How fine sand paper? 320grit maybe?
Mist coats then reapply main coat?

looks like damp patches from plasterboard adhesive. was the wall boarded then skimmed?

you screwed pb directly to the wall or battened first?

Battens on wall first. I think I figured the problem, low pile roller not getting the unknown bits, some of the plaster areas a bit rough
