I have cracks in my walls, in my architraves and in places where one joins the other.

Do I use decorators caulk or filler to go over the cracks?

What's the difference?

There are various different gap-filling products that vary in, for example, whether you can paint over them and whether they remain flexible.

"Decorator's caulk" is paintable and flexible.

Some photos might make it clearer what your particular problems are. But at a rough guess:
- Gap between architrave and wall - caulk.
- Cracks in wall - a "polyfilla" type filler.
- Cracks in architrave - possibly a 2-part woodfiller?
